Our outdoorsy adventures of July took us to the Nature Park!
Jon and the kids hadn't been there yet, so we saved up bread butts for a few months and went to feed the ducks :)
It was a gorgeous morning, and we even had to wear sweatshirts--in July! The high for the day was only 68 degrees. We started off with a walk through the nature trails:
When we reached the duck pond, all of the little guys were over on an island. As soon as we sat down near the water's edge they jumped in the water and came paddling over!
Jon and Kate were able to throw bread crumbs for the ducks and had a blast!
Edwin slept the entire time. Go figure.
Kate and Margo had a great time running down the trail on our loop back to the car:
It was such a nice day to be OUTSIDE and check out another corner of our cute town :) It's a nice reminder that you don't have to go far to explore the world. Sometimes the best things are the ones we miss right in front of our noses.
